Once there we were showed our room which was at the back of the hotel facing the sea, although we could not see the sea from our room as it was down a few stairs.

My first impression of the room was disappointment. It was a very long narrow room with a bathroom at the end, it was also very dark and gloomy looking but that turned out to be quite good as the room never really got very hot, there was a table and 3 chairs outside where we sat most evenings

There was a double bed, air conditioning was free of charge, safe deposit boxes were in the room for which you had to pay.

The food in the hotel was very good, a big choice, the salads being our favourite. At breakfast there is a big choice of hot and cold food and the fresh rolls every morning were delicious and sometimes they were still hot, the butter was awful but we bought our own at the supermarket next door.

The resort has several shops ( which generally all sell the same things), restaurants and bars and a few places where you can book excursions.

It is definately worth either taking the bus or jumping in a taxi and going to Rethymnon, the taxi costs 7 euros one way, I don't know how much it costs for the bus.

Excursions are very expensive as Crete is so large, it is worth the money to hire a car and see the Island yourself although we didn't as I was wary of driving over there.

The beach being like 10seconds away from the pool means you dont get bored i made loads of friends and had such a good time.
