[Restaurant(s)]

M Street Bar & Grill - This cheerful, multilevel restaurant decked with plants specializes in sandwiches, wraps, and Mediterranean-influenced entrées for lunch and dinner daily; the restaurant also serves breakfast. The street-level lounge offers a cozy space for cocktails before the fireplace or in cushy banquettes in front of long windows that overlook M Street.

[Positive]

This is a lovely hotel. If you go to this hotel's website to check out the rate calendar, and then check out Orbitz, Expedia you may see a savings depending on the date/season.

The rates were very reasonable and we were able to have our rooms next to each other. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were great; clean and very pretty.

The bathrooms were well lit and had great shower heads with super water pressure! The area was centrally located and safe to walk at night.

The room was enormous compared to NY hotels - a TV room and bedroom connected with a large closet, two TV's (1 of them flatscreen) and a clean bathroom.

The marble bathroom was roomy and nice w/ an oversized pedastal sink.

The hotel is just south of Dupont Circle, but it was an easy walk to some local restaurants. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and friendly. The room was impeccably clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. For that price, you just can't get any better.

[Negative]

The only problem I noticed was that the hotel doors slam very loudly and if you're in your room let's say between the hours of 5 and 10 pm it is very annoying with everyone coming and going at the end of the day into the evening.

The one concern that made the evening untenable was the TOTAL lack of soundproofing between rooms. We heard everything (and I mean everything) that happened in our neighbors rooms, including things that I am sure they want to keep private.

The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but maintained the temperature well.
